You Cannot Start Moving Mountains Untill You Have Been To Mount Calvary

Nagaland has long been recognized as one of the “ Christian states ” of India. We take pride in our religious-centered practices, our church-centered society, and our Christian heritage. But beneath this reputation lies a sobering truth, many of our people who identify as Christians have not truly been born again. And without a genuine new birth in Christ, without a personal encounter with Jesus, no amount of Christian tradition or religious activity can qualify anyone for heaven. Sadly, this is why so many in Nagaland live a defeated Christian life. Outwardly, they claim to have faith, but inwardly they lack the power and authority that comes from knowing the true Word of God. Being born into a Christian family does not make someone a child of God. Salvation is not inherited, it is received by faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross. The Setback of Religious Traditions One of the greatest challenges we face in Nagaland is the lack of solid biblical teaching. Many chur...

Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again

Have you ever been to this place called dissatisfaction ? You eat something, but you’re not satisfied. You exercise, sweat, and push yourself, but somehow you’re still not satisfied. You scroll through social media, one post after another, one reel after another, and yet you end up unsatisfied. You don’t even know what’s wrong, so you turn on Netflix or other platforms to escape, but after a few hours you shut it down and realize, you’re still not satisfied. Then you try something else, and something else again, but that deep satisfaction never comes. Do you know what you’re actually craving? It’s not another series, not another app, not another activity. You are craving spiritual food. God Himself has ordained it: Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God . (Matthew 4:4). Bread may feed your body, entertainment may distract your mind, achievements may boost your ego, but none of these can satisfy your spirit. The Thirst That Never Ends No ma...

You’re not even fifty, and you’ve seen Abraham? : A Call to Young Generation

Throughout the Gospels, one of the recurring themes we see is the constant rejection of Jesus by the religious leaders of His day, the Pharisees and Sadducees. These men were considered the spiritual authorities of Israel, the custodians of the Law, and the gatekeepers of religious life. Yet, when the very Messiah they claimed to be waiting for walked among them, they rejected Him. Why? Because the anointing upon Jesus exposed their systems, their pride, and their reliance on human recognition and influence. The Pharisees and Sadducees measured everything by fleshly standards, status, education, reputation, and influence. They could not comprehend the true anointing of God because their eyes were blinded by their love for position and control. They saw Jesus not as the fulfillment of prophecy, but as a threat to their influence. When Jesus declared truths that pointed to His divinity, they mocked Him. You are not yet fifty years old ,” they said to him, “ and you have seen Abraham? (J...

With Long Life Will I Satisfy Him

Have you ever thought of the words, God gave and God took away This phrase is often heard at funerals or when people try to make sense of sudden loss. Some also use it concerning blessings, saying, God gave, and God took it back. While there is a measure of truth in acknowledging God’s sovereignty, the idea that God casually gives and then takes back what He has blessed us with can be controversial. Today, let us look at what the Word of God say not through tradition or human reasoning, but through His promises. In particular, I want us to see one promise of God that is often overlooked: His promise of a long and satisfied life. Eternal Life Begins Now When we hear the words eternal life, many people think only of heaven after death—living forever with God in eternity. But biblically, eternal life is not something that starts after we leave this earth. It begins the very moment we are born again. Jesus Himself said in John 17:3, Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only t...

The Devil's A Liar: You Are Not Here By Accident

There is a voice, harsh, relentless, and merciless, that whispers to the human heart. It tells us we are too far gone, too worthless, too broken for God’s mercy. It paints our failures as final sentences, our addictions as permanent stamps on our souls, our families as doomed, and our future as a closed door. For many, those whispers grow into roaring accusations that lead to despair, depression, and sometimes even thoughts of ending life. Don’t believe the devil’s lies. Your existence is not random, you were created on purpose by a loving Creator. God made you as an original, not a copy, and there is no one else who can do what He’s given you to do. That’s why you matter so deeply to Him: your life contains a calling and a contribution only you can make. Even when you stumble, even when voices of shame or doubt mock you, hold fast to the truth, God has a plan for you, and He will use your story for His glory. Failures are not verdicts; they are steps on the road God is walking with yo...

Apart From Me You Can Do Nothing

The Gospel of Jesus Christ never promised an easy life, nor did it demand a perfect life from us. What it proclaimed is good new s,  that our sins are forgiven, that God has opened the way back to Himself through Jesus Christ, and that through His Word we are promised a transformed life. At the very heart of the Gospel is one central focus: Jesus and Jesus alone. Whether it concerns salvation or the daily journey of transformation, everything points to Him. The Father Himself testifies of the Son, the Holy Spirit glorifies the Son, and heaven itself opens at the name of Jesus. Salvation: All Jesus, Not Us When it comes to salvation, there is not a single event that focuses on mankind. Salvation is never based on our efforts, works, or morality, it is fully and completely based on the finished work of Christ. Jesus Himself declared in John 15:5, “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” This statement covers both salvation and life after salvation. God did not save us so we could th...

The War is Over: God is Satisfied

"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will toward men" (Luke 2:14). The most quoted passages during Christmas celebrations, often sung in carols and recited in sermons. Yet, it is far more than just a Christmas verse. Hidden within it lies a profound treasure many overlook. It is not merely an announcement of Christ’s birth, but a trigger of a new covenant . At the birth of Jesus, God Himself declared His good news to mankind, He was offering His peace and goodwill toward men. From Eden to the Cross: The War Triggered by Sin From the fall of man in Eden, humanity has carried a rebellious sin nature against God’s holy nature. Because of this, destruction continually fell upon mankind. There has been a constant war, though not instigated by God, for He is a loving God, but by sin which demanded judgment under His holy standard. Men have often labelled God as an “angry God” of the Old Testament, but that was never His nature. His holiness required justice, and...

God, I Will Never Do It Again — Why You Still Keep Failing - I

God, I will never repeat it again. God, this is the last time I’m doing it. God, I will not watch this anymore. God, I will not sin from today. Are you familiar with these lines? I believe every sincere person or even a believer who desires a godly life has spoken such promises at least once. The urge to please God, to live holy, and to break free from sin is real. Yet, no matter how much we promise, try, and struggle, we often find ourselves back in the same place. Why is that? If the desire is genuine, why does failure follow? The answer is simple yet profound: we are trying to do by human effort what only God can accomplish through His Holy Spirit. The Root Problem: Human Effort in the Work of Salvation For decades, people have tried to live free from sin. Churches too, instead of pointing people to Christ’s finished work, often turn the focus toward human responsibility: * Are you paying your tithes regularly? * Are you giving up immoral habits? * Are you generous enough? * Are you...
